2009 Wedding Trends

Simply Natural would like to wish everyone a health, happy and joyous New Year!

With a New Year comes new trends.  Here's what's hot in 2009!

Green Going Strong
Of course, my favorite trend from 2007, 2008 and still going strong in 2009 is
green weddings.  Weddings are a great way to incorporate your values.  Starting at the planning stages, you can use recycled invitations, and organic flowers for your ceremony and reception. Offering locally-grown organic food and wine is a great treat for your guests.

Grey is the New Brown
Shades of silver, pewter and charcoal all create a neutral background for hot, bold colors like hot pink, canary yellow and fire engine red or soft, pale colors of lavender and creamy whites.

Vintage Glam
1920's is all the rage.  Brides wearing birdcage veils and fascinators.  Antique lace and satin gowns, while bridesmaids adorn flapper dresses.  Art Deco-inspired receptions and a vintage getaway car complete the look.

Short & Sweet
Been working out your gams?  Then show them off with a mini or knee-length wedding dress.

Of course, your own style should shine through!
